Classy and very good.
Beautiful setting. Food was well prepared and presented..Reasonable priced wine. A proper treat.
My husband and I shared an appetizer (the slippers) and the lobster lasagna.
O’ Farol is set on the beach at Praia Da Rocha , that last restaurant before the marina. Nice setting for a sunset meal , the Monkfish & Prawn kebab was excellent , steak was also very good. Service was very good and managed to pair a good wine , recommend.
Went here with friends for dinner food was lovely. Whilst there I had a medical emergency which required an ambulance. George and his staff looked after me very well until the ambulance arrived, I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and care. So please go to O Farouk’s it’s the perfect place for dinner with staff that really care about their customers.
Beautifully cooked fresh seafood. We shared a starter of grilled Portuguese sausage. For mains we had fresh tuna and garlic fried squid. Very generous portions at a very reasonable price. The view is gorgeous, of the beach and sea. Friendly staff, who don’t hurry you and make you feel at home.
Had a lovely meal here one evening of our holiday. The man in charge was very friendly and chatty and explained all the fish dishes and meat skewers that were on offer. We opted for pork medallion and prawn skewers which were cooked to perfection. Good service , great food and a local beer watching the sun set. Who could wish for more.
We called in around about lunchtime - Their Hamburger, I don’t think you could beat it, very very tasty, well cooked, well constructed , well worth a visit.
lovely situation on beach with both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was varied and staff were good. Prices reasonable

Had the steak on the stone, probably the best steak I ever had. Everyone had a lovely meal. Great value for money.
In a gorgeous seaside hotel in Cascais, The Mix is a lovely find for a lovely and leisurely lunch. Food was very good and we even had the option to order off of the sushi menu as well as the The Mix's menu. Service was polite and attentive but not overbearing. A real treat, but at a price.
Came to reservation at 8pm, ended up getting the main at 1130pm. Horribly slow service. Over priced for tiny servings. Glad they had good bread to compensate a little.
Had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend on the terrace of O Farol in Portimão. From the terrace you have a beautiful view on the beach and the see and it is a very pleasant experience just sitting at your table doing some people watching. I ordered a skewer with shrimps and squid which came with a side of steamed vegetables and potatoes. We liked the fact that we could order wine in half liter bottles. Ideal if you want to try more than one kind of wine. We finished off our meal with lovely home made desserts and some medronho. The very friendly waiter took us to the a dessert display, so we could point at the cake we wanted to try. We ended up trying the fig cake and the sweet potato cake, both were very good.
Underwhelming experience. The food was a basic buffet food and service was sub standard. No waiters walking around clearing plate and asking you what you need. The place is very nice.
