Very nice location with a sea view, unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right in my opinion. The food was ok but not particularly good, the service wasn't attentive, even though the restaurant was half empty.

A go to place whenever I pass Nazare. Wonderful view onto the sea. The service is great, especially one guy who has worked there in more than 20 years. Always so friendly and remembers his customers. Very good seafood as well ???

The view is amazing! It was a windy day and we could be cosy and warm inside and still enjoy the view on the whole beach. The service was friendly and it’s also a child friendly place - has even a small table with toys etc

Very pleasant place which offers a magnificent view of the ocean and the beach. Unfortunately, we will keep from this place an embarrassing impression of being a nice tourist to be fooled, plucking would perhaps be the most appropriate term.The dish (rice with seafood), of a certain price, does not correspond to the menu which advertises several fish and shellfish.Besides the composition, the Portuguese specialty is bland and flavorless. It's a shame to offer French tourists and others this type of cuisine which absolutely does not represent Portuguese gastronomy.Dear compatriots, take advantage of this place to have a coffee and admire the exceptional view, but find another establishment for your lunch that matches the tasty cuisine of this country.

Pay close attention when choosing this restaurant, as it is expensive for what it delivers!I was on vacation with my family in Nazaré and went for lunch. The place is ok, the service is good, but the food is indecently poorly served. Our order was the Polvo à Lagareiro, and it was definitely a misery of food, I felt robbed by the paltry quantity that came. To give you an idea, my daughter's dish contained exactly 2 octopus tentacles and five small potatoes!!!I called customer service, who was polite and understood my point, saying that he would take the issue to management, but that in fact the standard was exactly that and nothing happened to make us feel better served.For those who have already eaten Polvo à Lagareiro at Casa da Guia, Praia do Guincho and so many other excellent places in the country, it is impossible not to compare how poorly we were treated with the meal. We left hungry and with that feeling of "I want more" it was really bad...... The bill? The bill came to €68!! For 2 measly octopus dishes, 1 very common vegetarian pasta and 1 sangria which was very good.If I were a tourist I'm sure they would deceive me, in fact I think they make a living from unsuspecting tourists who pass by and are unlikely to return if they have anything to compare with.This restaurant does not represent Portugal and the resolution of the problem was not even addressed.... it was as if nothing had happened, no one came to the table or anything like that.... regrettable....I'm not going back, and I'm not letting anyone I know go back. To you who are reading my statement, if you are hungry and want to go, remember my words:They will pay a lot and they will be hungry!!!!
