Upon entering the restaurant, we are immediately enveloped by an atmosphere reminiscent of tradition and classic elegance, a true tribute to the art of Portuguese cuisine. The menu, firmly based on seafood, presents a selection of fresh fish and seafood that celebrates the richness of our coastline. For meat lovers, there are also options that don't disappoint.
On our most recent visit, there were two of us and we started the meal with some steamed mussels that transported us directly to the beaches of our childhood. Cooked to perfection, the mussels were impeccably fresh, a true spectacle for the palate.
The main dish was monkfish rice that deserves to be mentioned in any gastronomic compendium worthy of the name. The monkfish, cooked with mastery, was wrapped in loose and tasty rice, perfumed with the flavors of the sea. Each bite was a celebration of the freshness of the ingredients and the excellence of the preparation.
It wouldn't be fair to talk about this restaurant without mentioning previous visits, where I had the pleasure of tasting octopus from Castelo do Neiva that rivals the best dishes I've ever tasted. The octopus, tender and juicy, demonstrated the chef's expertise and commitment to quality.
I highly recommend a visit to this temple of gastronomy, where each dish is an ode to tradition and freshness. Not only do you eat, but you also have a culinary experience that lasts in your memory and heart.
