The absolute best Piri Piri chicken around. We found this place through Trip Advisor after feeling fairly disappointed with the meals so far. This place however is authentic, the service is brilliant and the food is finger licking. We had the bbq (grilled) chicken and homemade apple pie. It was delicious. The staff are super friendly and attentive. They even went out of their way to book us a taxi back to our hotel in Vilamoura. This place is a must, you won’t be disappointed. Ronaldo’s football shirts on show were an added bonus.
This was the best meal we’ve had on this holiday. Excellent service and a very reasonable €108 for a party of six. Highly recommended!
A hidden gem of a place, great food and well worth a visit…book to avoid disappointment. We visited twice during our week, the food was delicious on both occasions. The staff are really friendly and attentive.
Excellent local food and even better service from the staff / owner …… Hidden gem that is a genuine delight to find and have a family lunch in. Owner welcomes like old friends , very friendly , food is well presented and great value and quality! After the first visit , next day visit was a must ! Recommend this authentic Quarteira gem! Valentine … parabens!!
A great find for a Tuesday night and very lucky to get a table as it was very busy! Service was great and all waitresses lovely. Food was delicious - peri peri sauce was the best we’d ever tasted and great value for money too. Would highly recommend
Had the half barbecue chicken, peri peri. Absolutely delicious and great staff throughout. Greeted by the friendly owner and served by lovely staff. 10/10 would recommend.
An excellent traditional restaurant in Quarteira, we have been coming with family every time we are in Algarve. Their grilled chicken is great, as well as Picanha, a thin sliced beef steak, all served with either rice ( we love it!) or chips. And black beans too! Don't forget to try their home made garlic bread, as well as tomato and onion salad! White Portuguese onion is so sweet, it goes so lovely with tomatoes (big read/pinkish), olive oil, salt an black pepper. We had (this time) Vinho Verde, amazingly refreshing! Staff is lovely, all of them and very helpful. We will definitely be back, but are sooooo happy to recommend it - great food, great portions, great prices, great staff!

We absolutely loved this place, authentic Portuguese. The staff and the owner really warm and friendly. We had olives and garlic bread to start with, followed by Piri Piri chicken and beef on skewers salad and fries (Excellent) both of us had puddings ,apple pie and not sure what I had but had Madeiren wine with it .Delicious.We shared a jug of Sangria. Amazed 62 euros for all that.It was a 30 walk from Marina, well worth the trip. I can honestly say can’t fault it and will be going back before we leave. The owner kept giving us small glasses of a liqueur, had 4 each in total really nice. Nothing more to say if you are on holiday here, try you will not be disappointed……
The service from Valentine was amazing! He supported us in deciding on our food choice for the evening. This was due to us being unfamiliar with Madeira cuisine.
This is a really great restaurant. Waiters are very nice, service was extremely good. Quick service as well. I suggest that you take your time, order starter, then order main after finishing starter. It's almost fast food, but it is freshly cooked and very very good. The owner is from Maderia, and is football crackers, as are a couple of the waiters. We had piri piri chicken. Beautiful. Fries and salad also good. The skewers and steak also looked excellent. Beer was ice cold. Frequented by mainly Vilamoura residents. It is worth the walk from the Hotels around the Marina...or Über it. I would definitely recommend to everyone. It isn't a romantic venue, think of it as authentic Portuguese modern restaurant. The walk back through town via the Esplanade is nice. Look for the nest atop the Tower of the Church of Our Lady of Conception on Rue 25 de April. It looks big enough to accommodate a dragon!!
Very friendly staff and excellent value for money. We had the speciality of the house (beef skewer for 2) with some French fries, rice, tomatoes, wine and desert and paid approx €45-50.
We were originally recommended this restaurant by a local nearly 10 years ago and visit every time we are in the area. The fact that is used by locals and tourists alike soeaks volumes. Simply the tastiest piri piri chicken ever. The staff are always friendly and fun, decorated in madeirian murals and serving traditional madeiran food at a price that simply cannot be beaten, starter, mains, sweets wine water and soft drinks for 3 coming to just over 70 €. We look forward to this restaurant as soon as we have booked our holiday. Book a table as it is small but well frequented, hidden in the old town its best to get a taxi as you could easily get lost.
