I was desperate for pizza and my bad luck was hitting town when all the other shops were closed, but this one was open (at least the back, not sure if it's the same place or a smaller section that is open later). This is a straightforward place with excellent, affordable pizza. We've gone back a second time just for the sake of it.
Very friendly and available service, we had a light meal with vegetable soup (traditional and very tasty, reminiscent of our grandmothers' food), we ordered a hamburger in yeast cake, and the fries are homemade (unlike many other places ), did not disappoint ?
The restaurant was well hidden behind the cafe. Modest, a bit spartan and somewhat worn but clean. Good and honest grilled tenderloin with lemon, rice, fries and salad. The red wine is not local but really good Portuguese. Not flashy but quite ok for the price.
