For dessert: creme brulée, which was very good. In general a bit expensive compared to the rest of the restaurants in Óbidos.”

“We had simply the best experience here today!

We have never experienced such wonderfully authentic Indian food before - the flavours were on a different level.

It is so far removed from the commercial, stodgy “Indian” food we remember back in the UK - this is so very different - a true flavour of the Punjab - made with love and served by kind hearts.

There was a very warm welcome at the door, a thoughtful explanation of all the dishes ( including the Punjabi origins, the ingredients/spices, the recommended combinations, the wines etc ) and excellent service throughout the meal - it really was quite memorable.

The starters of the Onion Bhaji and Gol Gappa Chaat were truly outstanding and set our expectations for the mains. We were not disappointed! The layers of flavour in the Honey Cauliflower and Butter Chicken were amazing - all washed down with a few glasses of chilled Alentejo wine.

A big Thank You to you all for such an amazing experience

He educated me on how to properly eat the course, and revealed good knowledge. As for the kitchen, the food (Butter Chicken + Rice + Garlic Naan) was absolutely delicious, good portions, and the drinks were at perfect temperature. The only thing that the restaurant could improve would be air conditioning. It was pretty hot in there. But overall, Manu and the kitchen seized the day and made it a great visit.
