The atmosphere and the service were top notch. It was a cool experience dining in the castle. But the food was not great. It was well presented but not good. I ordered lamb and it was very salty, no other seasoning or anything. Just blunt.

Amazing views and service. Only had a couple of vegetarian items. Nice but not overly do. Good ingredients used. Worth the unique experience and local produce.

The worst food I have had in a restaurante in my life. It took 45 min to prepare the food and it was not worth the wait. They served bread without us asking and charged 5 euro per person!!! Stay away!

Wonderful food, the service actually deserves 6 stars. We were thrilled.

Vegetarian options: Also highly recommended vegetarian dishes

Kid-friendliness: Even though the kitchen was closed, we made pasta for the 4-year-old child with incredible kindness

Everything excellent. The thing that made the biggest difference was Leandro Rojas' service; a very very friendly Argentinian. I would come back 10 times if I were to be served by him! I highly recommend it. When you come, ask to be served by Leandro! Thanks, Leandro!

The restaurant is located in a renovated old castle on the top of Obidos' walls, so I made a reservation online in advance. I arrived late and it was just before lunch time, but since I had made a reservation, I was able to find a seat somehow. Perhaps because it was late, there were no courses, only the a la carte menu, so we ordered grilled bacalhau, chicken stew, and pasta with meat sauce from the kids menu. Appetizers are served as appetizers and cost 5€ per person, but you can wait until the main dishes such as bacalhau salad, sausage, olives, and flavored butter arrive, so I highly recommend that you try them. The main dishes were simple local dishes, especially the bacalhau, which was prepared exquisitely and was very delicious. The chicken was simply stewed meat and vegetables, and it was a dish that allowed you to enjoy the ingredients themselves. It's a good restaurant, so even lunch will cost a reasonable amount. Although I didn't have a seat with a great view, I was very satisfied because I had a table where I could enjoy the atmosphere of an old castle.

We went it for a late lunch on slow day, while the food was ok though overpriced the service was very slow: the water we asked for took 25 minutes to be served, we had to ask twice to eventually be served our drinks. The waiters seemed more preoccupied polishing wares and bickering amongst themselves than paying attending to the only two occupied tables. Be careful that the ‘couvert’ (sad “bread plate” with crackers, few olives and 3 slices of ham) is billed twice as apparently it’s a 2 person portion of ‘couvert’. Decor and cleanliness was also left to be desired. Too bad really for such a lovely setting.

We were disappointed and underwhelmed. Not the easiest place to find.Service was impeccable.Menu was surprisingly limited and somewhat over priced as were the drinks. We had white port tonics which is a set drink, like aperol spritz. Oddly we were charged individually for the port €10 and tonic €4. We questioned this but they weren't interested.

Go anywhere else. Who said extra cost is worth it has got more money than sense !Told to wait for waitress, 10 mins later after two other couple s, after us, had ordered inside, no waitress. Ordered inside straight away, two milk coffees, on being decaffeinated. Got 1 milk coffee and one expresso decaf. Changed expresso. So 2x milk coffees, 2/3 of a small cup and luke warmGUESS HOW MUCH ???€8.Absolute rip off and they should be ashamed. Most expensive rubbish coffees in years of travel throughout EuropeView ok .

We had Christmas dinner here and had a great experience. There were not that many other guests so we got excellent service and had a great view out over the countryside. It was a set menu which was expensive even for Christmas Day.
