It's a shame to organize a birthday dinner, make a reservation, arrive at the place and they don't have a table. Total disappointment. The explanation was that a couple came with a child and gave them our table. Having booked two weeks in advance. We were truly shocked. You are on vacation and you are organizing a dinner to enjoy, you arrive and there is nothing prepared. The waiter did not know how to give us any solution, apart from not speaking almost English, our desire was to leave but at the same moment. In the end we had dinner at a high table, in a bad way. The food was good, but without bordering on what I call spectacular, nothing in line with the price, the situation was terrible. Not recommended or up to Michelin standards.

This restaurant is run by a known chef in Portugal and only offers menus with either 4 or 7 dishes that you can accompany with a. very good selection different wines (optional). The dishes served were exceptionally prepared and served at a right pace. I went for the 4 dishes menu, which was enough for my hunger. The menu changes from time to time, so I can witness what was served on 31.07.24. My highlight of the menu were the raviolis and the shrimp in nectarines with corn foam was simply excellent. It worths definitely a visit, you spend an amazing dinner with a nice view to Odeceixe. This is a Michelin Guide restaurant.

My husband and I dined at Naperon this week during a weeks holiday in Odeceixe. We were recommended the restaurant by Catarina, the owner of Monte Coast West and it met and surpassed every single expectation. From the moment we walked in we were enveloped in a world that Chef Hugo has so elegantly created. A small number of tables overlooking the hotels small pool and in the distance the hillside and windmill - it’s a magical location totally hidden from the road. You need to be looking for it to find it which only adds to its charm. We were greeted by our server and the concept explained to us - we chose the 7 moments and without the wine pairing were recommended an incredible bottle of wine by the knowledgeable and lovely sommelier. The couvert was the first to come out - delivered by the chef himself. It blew us away - 4 magical morsels, different flavours and textures including a watermelon gazpacho that was incredible. From there the next 6 moments (plus a magical bread course) were a riot of flavours - a journey truly curated by the Chef elevating simple fresh local ingredients to something totally new and different. We left genuinely giddy from an incredible meal, totally unexpected in this beautiful corner of Portugal. We would highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and is willing to put their dining experience in the hands of this very talented chef.

It's excellent. Totally worth the trip. Chef Hugo Nascimento created a haute cuisine restaurant, but uncomplicated and lively. A lot of attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients, an unpretentious and very balanced wine list and a very fun experience. Some flaws in the service (serving the first starter without removing the dishes from the cover) but compensated by the friendliness and availability of the staff who were always accessible and part of the good experience. I will be back soon.

Excellent. It's worth taking advantage of while you still don't have your first Michelin star (inevitable) and you can get a table relatively easily. Fabulous food in an environment that manages to be both chic and unpretentious. Costa Vicentina needs more projects like this.
A tip: if you don't want wine pairing, order the Quinta do Rol grande reserve and use this excellent sparkling wine to cleanse the palate between each dish, as the flavors are all very different and some are quite delicate.

Noir Burlesque

Nāperōn, is a dream oasis torn out of time. A magical location and an explosive experience for the palate and senses. Hugo is an out of norm Chef. And the staff just fits in, lovely, attentional and professional.
We will definitely be back.

Exceptional experience, the food is wonderful, with original and well thought out creations by Chef Hugo Nascimento. There are two tasting menu options - 4 and 7 moments. We chose the 7 moments (90 euros) and we didn't regret it. All dishes are unique and delicious. The service is very efficient, polite and explains each dish with kindness. The space is well decorated and the view is very beautiful, particularly during the day. We loved it and want to go back.

Cool atmosphere in the main building and in the other buildings spread out in several locations along the street. However, some elements that are certainly meant to be "stylish" are not necessarily functional - for example, the clothes rail in the rooms, which is so low that you can't even hang a shirt on it, or the "toilet cubicle" without ventilation.

Every "moment" was delicious and special. We were explained every food we were served, and we loved the detail of attention. We were treated like royalty. The amazing chef and his staff worked so hard to make us have such a wonderful experience. It was really an once in a life time experience.
