Unfortunately we were the only guests. The service was a bit shy but extremely courteous. Unobtrusive but attentive. The food was typically Portuguese, simple but good. Price-performance okay. For two people with wine and starter €60 is reasonable.

Don't be fooled by the variety of the menu displayed, because it has less than 1/3 of what you read on the notice board at the entrance. The meat is fine to eat as well as the house wine is quite acceptable. Everything else is of very poor quality. Go further.

Never had such a bad meal in Portugal. We agreed on a menu for a group of 8 people at 25 euros. For a starter they brought a tuna sauce and another that looked like shrimp, olives and a banal salad, with banal house wine. The worst was the main course, a piñata of potatoes placed in the middle of the table, with a few pieces of fish. They asked us to pay for the desserts. For these prices in other restaurants we have had good starters, individually cooked whole fish dishes and bottled wine. To be totally avoided.

This restaurant was a highlight of my trip. Very lovely restaurant and the lady who runs it. She prepared me a delicious meal. A beautiful garden with orange trees, flowers and birds singing.

We were sooo impressed by the lady who runs the restaurant. When we asked about the soup of the day, she brought us a bowl to taste before we ordered. The soup was very tasty, had beans, cabbage and pasta inside. We also had some pork dishes and a fish dish. Although service was slow, we were not bothered as the lady was doing everything alone. The food was good, fresh, but what stood out was the kindness in which it was offered. We felt very welcomed! If you are looking for authentic local cuisine, we highly recommend this place.

Beautiful garden, open kitchen and outdoor barbecue, welcoming staff, very fresh fish. We ordered the fish of the day and they even brought us cuttlefish straight from the port! We liked it so much that we returned two nights in a row. Mrs Maria is fantastic, a UNESCO heritage site ?
The worst of the worst shouldn't even be open.... They still took 38 euros from the little that was eaten from the dishes

We ordered black pork feathers and in the end we received black pork meat that has nothing to do with feathers...Excellent service, but even so the maids cannot do a good job with a lack of raw material.I hope you'll take my constructive criticism seriously, because I'll be back soon with hopes of improvements.
