Tasty cuisine from Nepal. All the dishes that we had were not overly hot/spicy for our European taste :). Very good value for money. Very friendly and efficient service. Ordered food came very quickly. Fluent English communication.

Very lovely place and delicious food! Best korma I ever tried (including ones in India). Momos - must try ? Great service. It’s a family-run place. Very kind and sweet people.

Mar Azul was a welcome find after a tiring day walking the Fisherman’s trail. We arrived early and hungry. The host was genuinely warm and friendly, as do often Nepalese people are. The food was delicious, plentiful and very reasonable. As there was an unexpected downpour our host even offered to drive us back to our lodgings. Such a star. Thank you. Your kindness is surely a gift.

Really good food and hospitality, especially as we were a big group. The people who run this place are very kind and generous. There is also pool and fussball to play before and after food! It was the best evening we had during our stay in Portugal! Couldn't recommend this place more!!

We had dinner at Mar Azul a few days ago, after we finished hiking for the day. The Nepalese family who run this are really lovely people. The menu is a mixture of Nepalese, Indian and Chinese cuisine. We had 3 dishes and each was delicious. (The hint of 'smoke' in the chicken chow mein was so good!) And definitely try the momo!

This place is a gem, in the middle of nowhere you find super delicious food with such a friendly staff and a good vibe. Very affordable amd overall extremely satisfying!!! The Momos are delicious!!

Great Nepali Kitchen. Really authentic and tasty food. We tried a Lot of different dishes and everything was good. Loved the momos. The waiter was the nicest guy and the food came fast as hell. By the way... It's really cheap! Go there!!!

Even though we were not hungry enough for a full meal, we had mango lassi and vegetable and chicken momo (steamed). Bothe very good. Personally I preferred the chicken ones, but Bothe were perfectly cooked. The staff was super friendly, but what impressed me the most was that they are here for 5 Years and are perfectly fluent in Portuguese. I would definitely try again something else.

Amazing food, excellent service and incredible value. We’s walked all day on the Rota de Vicentina and found this gem of a restaurant serving cold Nepalese beers and excellent momos and curries. Great pool table and table football too and brilliant staff. We will be back!

We were shocked by the prices at this restaurant. Amazingly affordable and delicious food! If I lived here, I'd eat here every day. Really kind service also. I'm coeliac and they helped guide me to the gluten free options. 10/10 recommend.
