Weinig keuze voor restaurantjes in dit dorpje, dus hier beland. Wel even moeten wachten voor we bediend werden, maar het eten zelf kwam vlot. Het eten zelf (we namen octopus) is niet uitzonderlijk. Prijs-kwaliteit was dit wel ok. Het avondzonnetje op het terrasje was wel aangenaam.

Regrettable. We went because of the good reviews but it seems that they have changed owners. Now it is run by a family from the East (India or Pakistan). There was hardly any availability of dishes on the menu and no fish. We ordered octopus and squid salad, 10 e each plate and the squid was frozen Roman style, and the octopus was little and a lot of raw onion for filling and it was also frozen. It's a shame how Portuguese food is distorted in this area by mass tourism.

What a shame ! Our worst experience in Portugal and we are not picky! 1 hour wait for an overly salty salad and defrosted grilled chicken. When we asked for the bill the owner was eating and her employee asked us to wait until she finished her meal to collect. Not a word, not a look from this woman who was on a table in the room. But that's nothing compared to the way it treats its Indian employees. We witnessed a sad spectacle. This woman is insulting and aggressive towards her employees. We felt sorry for them because we saw that they were afraid.
I hope that the justice system in your country will take an interest in you.

Excellent, fresh food at good value for money. If you take starters, you can easily share a main course. The portions are very large. The scampi was super tasty. Likewise the bacalao and the beef. We spent around €25 each including the starter, main course, side salad, wine and water.
