We absolutely love this place - the speciality suckling pig is honestly one of the best things you can possibly eat. No frills, and a bit rough around the edges but all adds to the undeniable charm. Came for the house speciality "leitao", roast suckling pig. The restaurant was VERY busy on a Tuesday in mid January. Mostly local Portuguese, with a few tourists mixed in. I would suggest reservations if you plan on going. The pig was well seasoned and nicely prepared. The crackling was especially tasty. Are lunch here on September 25. It is a typical family run Portuguese restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is a bit decrepit but the food is tasty. We had the dourada and Alantejo pork with clams which were very tasty. Service was a bit chaotic even at 2 pm when the place was emptying out.
