The place is beautiful, with very beautiful and different decor.
However, the service is terrible.
We arrived around 11pm, and the restaurant was empty.
Upon arrival, no one attended to us; We waited for someone to welcome us, but no one showed up.
So, we went in on our own and sat on the terrace.
The staff took a long time to serve us, so we changed tables, as no one was serving us outside, and stayed inside the restaurant.
The staff ignored us and always served the next table.
I won't be back :)

Service always misguided, careless and slow. Cool atmosphere, although there are some rare parachute birds every now and then! Lots of room for improvement.

Huge bar, with quaint and welcoming decor. However, we only met for 1 minute, at which point the concierge, in a condescending, pedantic and rude way, told us there was no space for a group of 5 people. I lost the desire to go back.

The closest thing to an actual English pub I've found in and around Lisbon/Cascais. Super friendly and welcoming staff

It has a good atmosphere but it is mandatory for each person at the table to consume. They forced me to pay for a 50cl bottle of water (€2.5) because they didn't want to give me a glass of water, even though they knew I was feeling unwell.

Overall nor a bad place to visit. Good choice of beers. Not much to choose from food. You can play pool and snooker here.

2023 Nov - Very sadly, this is no longer the nicest pub around. There are so many more employees and somehow it still takes me >30m to get a beer when the pub is half-empty... Drinks get confused often and some employees have an attitude to blame or convince the customer that it's the same drink, but no, a Guinness is not a Kilkenny! Cocktails are very hit or miss, Gin & Tonic and Moscow Mule are good, but the rest are the worst and most expensive I have ever seen. Even the Beer Hunter sandwich which in the past was good, is served drenched in oil. You are in serious need of staff training for serving and cooking. I hope you improve to keep up with surrounding competition, it would be a shame to lose such a historic pub.---Great environment, friendly staff, good food.

Nice place in the British pub style. Prices a little high for what they serve, but good quality. English snooker table in poor condition and crooked cues, aspects that need to be improved. But a nice spot to have a few drinks with some friends.

Very slow service , very rude owners and employees … charged us for a beer that we placed on a old bent table and don’t enjoy the way that they served us at all …
