It's a great little bar for a stop off. We only had toasties, but they were good, served by a very cheerful and helpful young lady. This is a jazz bar that has live jazz music on some afternoons/evenings, though not when we were there. Instead, we had piped jazz, which was a little loud, but then we sat under the speaker:)

Absolutely avoid a tourist trap!! We ate in this cafe one day when there was a group of musicians inside the cafe. When paying for our drinks and tapas we were asked to pay 8 euros extra for the music, even though we stayed on the terrace outside for 20 minutes. A shame ! And the tapas need to be reviewed

Price paid different from that written on the menu, higher obviously, without receipt to understand, even the change in cash was wrong! I didn't complain because I'm on holiday, very bad experience
Upset. I make a reservation for six people two days in advance and when I arrive they tell me that the reservation is for two people. Without discussion. Not a simple apology. I don't speak Portuguese, but I think it's not easy to confuse two and six

March 10, 2024. The experienced visitor to this jazz bar reserves seats in the restaurant in advance. We deliberately chose a table outside for today's concert (reservation not required at this time of year)). The expected sound experience was questionable. The service outside was characterized by professional attention. The sound system/sound was excellent - a huge compliment to the technology. We recommend that imitators wrap up warmly so that any possible shivering does not disrupt their enjoyment of the music. By the way: Trumpeter and singer were excellent!

We arrived at half past five and wanted to start with a Pina Colada. The staff didn't even have time to find out if we wanted to eat something later, but immediately after ordering a drink, they politely sent us away, giving us only until 6:30, because the concert was supposed to start at 7:30. The drink didn't taste like Pina Colada at all, it felt like pineapple juice with rum. I know how it tastes, I like this drink very much, but in this establishment it is far from Pina colada.
