Casa de Pasto Almirante is a local, non-touristic restaurant in the Algarve. Their grilled tuna steak and golden sea bream are highly recommended. The restaurant offers generous portions at affordable prices, with a meal for two, including bread, olives, and water, priced at €18. The staff is friendly, and the manager did everything to put guests at ease. Service can be slow at times, but this is part of the Portuguese way of enjoying a meal with friends. The restaurant is noisy, but offers a 100% Portuguese atmosphere. It's a very nice experience on a street corner which, at first glance, does not suggest such a surprise. Irrelevant or wandering tourists, flee the McDonald's and Burger King and come and eat real tasty food. The price beats all competition, with main course, dessert, drink, coffee, all included at €9 per person. Overall, Casa de Pasto Almirante is highly recommended for its tasty food and good value for money.
