What to say ..... A very nice experience on a street corner which, at first glance, does not suggest such a surprise. The manager did everything to put us at ease and make ourselves understood (which is not always easy when you don't speak Portuguese) Hearty dishes and a 100% Portuguese atmosphere. A restaurant that is essential to discover if you are looking for authenticity!!!!! As for the price, it beats all competition Go there with your eyes closed, you will not be disappointed.

It had never happened to me. We searched the site on Google for reviews. Once there (it was packed) we waited for a table, we didn't wait long and when they served us they told us what they had (there is no menu) and we ordered. Until then everything is normal. We ordered sardines and sea bream (very good) and for the child they offered us a sausage with potatoes and rice. When we went to pay (Carla, who I think is the owner, comes up to us and tells us, €9 each...and I tell her what about the child??? Nao nao...and I don't charge it... And they also offered us almond shot. Very authentic places... There were workers, ordinary people, in fact I think we were the only tourists, there are no frills, it is an authentic Portuguese place to have lunch... Thank you.

The best address for a restaurant that is typical, inexpensive and with large quantities. 9€ per person for: - a drink (a whole bottle!!) - bread and olives - an extremely garnished dish - a dessert - a coffee and a digestive (alcohol)
The service is fast and efficient with a particular waitress who always has a smile on her face.
The waitresses only speak Portuguese but with the translator we do very well!!
A little noisy but that's part of the Portuguese atmosphere.
Honestly the best restaurant, compared to the others which are tourist traps.
