Called in here on the way home from the local bars for a take out. Chicken was a 20 min wait so i asked what they had ready to go and ended up with a fish dish for €5 which hit the spot.👍👍

I was so excited to eat at this local place after walking by this restaurant multiple times during my week long stay in Olhao. When I finally decided to walk in for dinner on a Monday night at 7pm I was told by the nice hostess that I couldn’t have a table for one as they were fully booked. So I asked nicely, ok no problem can I make a reservation for one for tomorrow night. I was then told nicely by her but that the owners policy is to not accomodate a party of one and you can only make reservations for two, ever! I then asked ok what if I come for lunch? And she again nicely said I can’t promise you because what if we have reservations for two people. So I’m leaving this review in hopes the owner sees this, hears my disappointment and when someone who really wants to dine at your establishment comes as a party of one you will let them in. There were many tables open at the time and either you need to update your staff or on behalf on all the solo travellers and diners out there you let us come and eat should you have the pleasure of us wanting to spend our evening and money dining with you. Obrigado ✌🏻

Incredible value chicken cooked fresh on the grill. Big salad, chips, and €26 for 2. We heard them clucking earlier in the day when we passed, so you know it was fresh!
Aw great BQ chicken… black pork excellent!!! When Tge diners are fun , there can be great atmosphere as we are close to each other in small space!!! It’s a must to try whilst in town!!!!& very reasonable price!!!

Rustic charm. Don’t be put off by the modest exterior and interior. The Cataplana was excellent and the waitress warmed up and smiled eventually. Beware the Piri Piri sauce, it’s really hot!🙂

Bad food, too oily and not so homemade as you would think, be careful they charge what ever they want, at the beginning it seemed as an affordable tavern to eat but when they brought the bill it had extra charges of cover (overcharged) and overcharged water bottle. Also I noticed that they didn’t exactly follow all the hygiene rules in the kitchen when it comes to raw chicken and other meats.

Was hot for customers, so did feel for poor kitchen staff. Food was cheap and cheerful. Lovely prawn salad, followed with a freshly grilled main. Starter, main meal for two people and a bottle of wine, 33€. Staff were lovely as well, had a nice chat with them
