Cozy and quiet restaurant in one of the alleys in Olhão. The decor is minimalist with small details that don't make us forget that we are close to the sea. We opted for a clam starter and a typical dish from the area, "Raia Alhada" and what an excellent choice. Thank you very much.
Ate at “Dona Manela” for the first time today. The Lulinhas fritas (9 pieces) were delicious and extremely plentiful. However, it was missing coriander, which I then ordered more. The salad was too bland and boring for my taste (iceberg, tomatoes, onions), unfortunately there were no vegetables.The waiter tried very hard to handle the English menu?
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and so glad we did. The food was fantastic, fresh and everything home made (nothing cooked from frozen) Hand cut chips were especially delicious. Garlic prawns were probably the best I've tasted and we were also given bread to mop up the sauce. Main courses also outstanding - compliments to the chef! 6 adults who all enjoyed the whole meal.
