Fabulous restaurant found through Trip Advisor on a trip to Olhão. Excellent food prepared by Gunter with the front of house staff (from Lisbon) super helpful & friendly, superb ?

Delicious food and a very pleasant evening with chef Gunther!I was allowed to indicate the sharpness of the piri-piri myself, a nice personal touch!

Because of the weather this was the first time that we had ever sat inside for a meal. Restaurant is well laid out with excellent decor and tables well set, fabulous tasty food as always with excellent service from the staff, we just need the sun to shine so that we can sit outside.

Gunther is a Belgian chef, which normally is a good sign. He, however, is in an urgent need for better quality: most people can cook like he does in their own kitchen at home.

This was an amazing night out thanks to gÜnther and his staff. The 14 of us were made very welcome, we were put at a well placed table in a lovely corner. The drinks were amazing so was the food. I cannot praise this place enough. We will definitely be going back when we visit Portugal again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family and I had the pleasure of returning to Gunthers restaurant. We were here last July and we looked forward to returning to this friendly family run restaurant. Its beauty and charm are a delight. But the food is superb. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. Seeyou soon again five star

When entering Gunther's restaurant you immediately feel a nice atmosphere from the abundant and cosy decoration. Staff complements this with their friendly welcome.When informing about Gunther, we are told he is a Belgian chef. The menu also shows this with a combination of Belgian and Portugese dishes. The dishes we had were excellent. They are Gunther's own interpretation, taking each of them (almost) to excellence. Gunther also takes pride from making his dishes from the best ingedrients and presenting them in an original way.In the low season Gunther has some time to have a chat with guests as he did with us. He also told us he regrets he cannot do this in the high season.The staff is utterly friendly and the cost of the dishes is very reasonable.Next time we are in the region, we will come back for more.One more remark: there is no wifi, it is a place to enjoy the people with you.

Vegetarian options: The menu has some vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: Kids chairs and some toys are available.

Parking: The entrance of the parking is to the right of the restaurant building (direction of Olhao). A rough guess tells me there is space for 15 cars but it could be more.
