A very cozy quiet place. Delicious vegetable soups ?, fish ?, olives . I really like the atmosphere itself. There's always room. And there are always clients. It is comfortable to sit both in the hall and on the terrace. My husband and I fell in love with this family restaurant. We wish you good luck ?

The food was tasty but there was little quantity, I ordered a bitoqueof veal they gave me a maximum of 10 potatoes. A tourist in front of me had a plate with a steak with a sauce that I'm not sure what it was, but half of the plate was fries, there were so many compared to what I had on the plate that even you left potatoes, I was left with so few fries so little meat that I ate the bread with pâté, I ate bread with butter and left the restaurant hungry, a real shame, never again!Regarding the service, I didn't see the Brazilian girl laughing but she was talking to a Portuguese boy, the Portuguese boy was just laughing looking at my table, he was talking to the Brazilian girl, but I didn't see anything from the Brazilian girl, the Portuguese boy also not very presentable, I don't know how they hire people uglier than the army's boots, I don't recommend it.

We have never received such unfriendly service. That's why the service receives 0 points.Unfriendly behavior, long waiting times and taciturn communication. From the start we had the feeling that we were disrupting things.Both service staff (male and female) at the next tables proved that there was another way (at least as far as friendliness was concerned). Portuguese guests were served there.We had the sea bass which was well prepared and tasted good. The sea bream was too dry. Our daughter's meat (turkey) was okay.Even if the food had been very good overall, we wouldn't set foot in this restaurant again.In all other restaurants the interaction was very friendly. That's why we consider our experience at Lagar Mar to be a complete outlier on the downside.

Very good food, in particular the peppercorn sauce which they let me have with anything. Staff accomodating. Service levels drops when they are very busy but we will keep coming back as it's one of our favourites.
