This restaurant is simply excellent. The food was beautifully prepared and the service was first rate. The portions were very generous and the fish dishes were delicious. Antonio made everything g very special for us. We will definitely be returning and could not recommend this restaurant more highly. It was recommended in the most recent edition of the Rough Guide to Portugal as one of the best restaurants in Olhao and we were not disappointed.

Second review on this restaurant one year later, this year my wife had the chicken on the charcoal & my daughter had octopus rice. I had the clams and pork. This year, the chicken and the rice squid was perfect, all the flavours were on point.. but the pork and clams fell short in flavour. Lack of salt & garlic to bring out the clam flavour, so for that I removed 1 star from last year’s review. But, I know normally all their dishes are on point. Yes I recommend this place 100%.2022Tonight, we stopped to eat at (O Bote) This is a family run restaurant with amazing seafood fresh from the market across the street. The restaurant is located in the hart of the action of the market area and the food is very well priced. Every thing was amazing with the big grilled calamar, and the pork with clams out of this world….and season spot on…
