This is a local style place with friendly staff. When they realized we were tourists a young lady named Patricia served us. We had chicken and salad and wine. It was tasty and very reasonable.

A real traditional, original, honest restaurant with great food! Patricia and her family are running this place super well, very sympathetic and lovely, whilst serving fantastic honest food! Our recommendation (next to all other on the menu) - black pork ribs and sardines and dorade… all great! We love coming here again and again!

Mostly good but avoid the “black pork” at all costs. It came recommended by a staff member and was just soggy fatty pig skin - inedible.

Simply the best grilled chicken I have ever eaten! We have eaten our fill of delicious fresh seafood in Lisbon and Olhao but this restaurant is a gem. Simple food grilled over coals, chicken is there speciality and it is absolutely gorgeous, we ended up eating there twice it was so good.

Be aware, always ask for receipt if you order for delivery at your home, the delivery guy will try to charge more then the cost. Last time he charge me 14€ on a 10€ order, after i check the bag, there was no receipt either. After calling them, unfortunately, I was answered by the same sketchy delivery guy, he clearly remembered the delivery and argued that i order from somewhere else, very passive-agressive angry person, i got no compensation and he hangup the phone in my face. This was the last time i orderered from this restaurant and will never ever recommend it to anyone.

Excellent value for money. Gorgeous food, grilled on the charcoal barbecue right in front of you. Great ambience- down to earth and friendly. The place is not much to look at - its pretty scruffy. But don't let that stop you. It's a great find
It may not be a fancy restaurant with white linen tablecloths and shiny cutlery but the food is authentic, bursting with flavor and great value for money. We ordered the mixed meat (selection of different meats and sausage) and a full grilled chicken all grilled on a charcoal grill and with them, we were served fries and a salad. The taste was delicious, bursting with flavor with a hint of charcoal. It cannot get more authentic than that. And for dessert, the flan which was divine. Probably the best Flan I’ve had anywhere!!!! You have to try this place. It may not look like much from the outside but it’s what they serve that counts AND it doesn’t break the bank.

I was looking for somewhere in Olhao a first ever cataplana, while trying to sell the idea to my somewhat reluctant other half! This place was recommended by a couple we met here, and sounded interestingly "off piste". I immediately thought, this is the sort of place Rick Stein would take you to as one of his "hidden gems". The restaurant is a tiny 20 odd seater with the diners and kitchen area in the same space. We shared a cataplana for two washed down with the house red. I have nothing to compare the cataplana to, but it was the best seafood meal out both of us have ever had! There was probably enough seafood for three, consisting of huge prawns, sliced octopus, crab claws, clams and razor calms, all swimming in loads of delicious soup like sauce to mop up with fresh bread. The chilled house red wine was eminently drinkable (we started with 1/2 a litre and then simply had to have another 1/2) and went so well with the food. Our meal was excellent, and the good vibes made for a great evening out.

First night of our holiday after walking around for ages getting hungry we tried this place and what a lucky find it was, we had the mixed meat for two (wow) so good and so much meat all cooked on a charcoaled grill in front of you. we returned to have the ribs and chicken and the sardines which aren’t on the main menu but are available as are some specials. The inside of the restaurant is like going back 30 years but this adds to the charm of the place we had to book to make sure we got in as it has seating for about 18 inside and some tables outside. The waitress is always on the go and is very hardworking she never stops as do the other two ladies and the chef in between him doing delivery’s . This place is fantastic.
