Magnificent restaurant to taste one of their different Cataplanas options.We went with the monkfish, clams and shrimp, accompanied with pepper, onion and a lot of cilantro (personally what I liked the least).A cataplana to share between two, if you don't ask for anything else, is more than enough. Includes some fries separately.We will repeat if we return to the area.
Discovered this place by accident on the main drag in Olhão. Very typical traditional Portuguese restaurant. Speciality seems to be cataplana fish stews. In fact the restaurant bills itself as the ‘king of the cataplana,’ and it certainly lives up to that boast. My friend and I had the monkfish and prawn cataplana and it was AMAZING! Good restaurant to try their specialty, the cataplanas, with a medium price and plenty of quantity for 4 with only one serving 2 people.It's not cheap, but not the most expensive either, good value for money!!
