This is hands down the WORST MEAL we have ever had in a restaurant in our lives. (and we have had thousands all over the world!) It seemed to be popular with locals so we thought that was a good sign. We ordered the Fish with Pasta, based on our waiter's recommendation. We waited 40 minutes for them to make it so expected something really good. It tasted like canned tomato soup with macaroni and some leftover pieces of fish and bones thrown in it along with 4 small prawns, served in a big old kitchen soup pot. And so overpriced! It was 35 eruos ($53 Cdn). They even charged us 2 euros for butter that we didn't use! We felt sick and really ripped off when we left.

We love this place, great for snacks or dinner and right on the beautiful Praia Grande. Such lovely staff and fresh fish daily. We've been coming for years and both kids - 10 and 12yrs and adults love the relaxed atmosphere, good music and the best views with our dinner.

This restaurant was by FAR the worst place we visited during our entire trip to Ferragudo. After dangling dead fish infront of my vegan girlfriend, we waited 40 minutes for our food. What we received was laughable. I ordered peri peri chicken (which the waiter recommended) and received a plate of bones, what meat was actually on those bones was dry as dust. Eat somewhere else! ?

This is a delightful, laid-back beach bar where you can call in just for a drink and a snack or a lovely meal - the service and welcome will be the same. On separate occasions we enjoyed superb golden bream and sea bass to share - the quality of the food was excellent. A great place to watch the world go by and the sun go down on the beautiful Praia Grande.

I try to go on holiday in this region twice a year and I start the mornings on Praia Grande with coffee in this nice bar. And I often end the beach day there with a cool drink, sometimes while waiting for the Taxi Ferry that has a drop-off/pick-up point here.

It was a bit expensive for us at 1.50, but the price of coffee seems to be higher on this side of the Algarve. We are used to paying an average of 1 Euro in the Algarve
