Very bad service. It seemed like they didn't want us here. We had barely finished our starter when the main course was already served. The children's dish also didn't taste like anything. Only the fish dish contained vegetables. Furthermore, it was only meat with rice and fries. Definitely not worth the money they ask for it.

Since 3 years we are use to go there during our Holliday. On my previous reviews I wrote, high price but related to quality of the food.... But my last experience was more like being robbed. Name of plates note really related to what is served. Side orders served cold, need to send it back ( just a reminder a plate is around 35€...) , But will the side order is being warmed the main plate is getting cold. Only ''sorry'' from the staff due to the situation. On my side I will tell you to go somewhere else, there is plenty nice restaurants in the area with more level than this one. At the end we spend around 150€ for 2 for a food quality that could be executed by anyone with some skills. A special note for the creme brulee, which was like a orange gelly...

Well made but nothing out of this world. they don't have a chef for the prices they charge.It is more expensive than several chef restaurants in the Douro (ventozelo, quinta do seixo, pacheca).They don't leave the bottles on the table, we don't like it that way but other people might like it.(Dinner for two)

What a gem!We visited for breakfast (buffet) and dinner (degustation menu) and had an amazing time. The variety of choices available and the beautiful details made this experience one to repeat.Staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to ensure that costumers are happy. A special mention to the person who served us dinner (unfortunately we didn't get his name): he took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. You could tell he is doing a job that he loves. Thank you!
