Very underwhelmed with the food. The pork was barely warm when it was served, the salad was a sad piece of work and the bread was rock solid. With nowhere else to go to as everything else in the area was either reserved or full had no other option for eating out. The place itself was very cramped and my seating felt like I was getting in the way more than anything. Atmosphere itself feels like a small local spot known mostly by middle aged and older people as those were the customers present during my visit. The people are friendly but the service overall was a bit slow knowing that the place only serves one real dish and it still taking longer than expected.

The man looked at me as if I had smacked him in the face, slowly lifted his index finger and slowly wagged it at me while shaking his head and mumbling something incomprehensible about them having run out. We felt completely unwelcomed. Even my boyfriend who doesn't speak Portuguese quickly picked up on the fact that we werenot welcomed there and that women should probably not speak unless spoken to.
