“O PastusBib Gourmand according to the Michelin Guide.Place for 16 people maximum, plus a table of eight. The owner, Annakaren Fuentes, is also a chef, head waiter, sommelier and waitress, because the restaurant staff is limited to her and Breno in the kitchen. There is a menu and a tasting menu, which is what we chose: bread, seven dishes and two desserts. The first three, served as snacks, are excellent: oyster, tongue and leek, each with its accompaniment. Then, some wild fish, tuna and skate, also very successful. Finally, a veal, slightly overcooked, very well accompanied by a carrot puree. For dessert, a refreshing avocado ice cream and a creamy ruby chocolate. With the room full, the service is a little slower, as is natural seeing how limited the team is, despite its great productivity. Of course, Annakaren never loses his smile.Interesting and recommended restaurant.“

“This is really a hidden gem, not easy to get there, but it was completely booked, and one can understand why! The place has outstanding seafood, totally fresh and amazing wine to pair the food with. For starters we had some really nice cheese from Alentejo with really good bread; and we ordered some clams as well. The clams were fresh and amazingly cooked. For the main course we had grilled sea bream that was cooked to perfection, with sauteed vegetables. We ended on an amazing note with a delicious lemon meringue pie with a delicious tawny Port. The service was excellent, the only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because the dishes took too long to come to the table. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. It is definitely worth going there.“

“Restaurant serving typical Alentejo food and not neglecting any detail, from the decoration of the space to the crockery. Divine meals, well prepared, well served and with a fantastic flavor. We tried grain stew, Alentejo migas with ribs and the house sweet to finish.“

“While strolling through Paço d'Arcos, my choice of place was at Restaurante A Marítima. Typical restaurant serving traditional Portuguese food with great food. For starters came Bread, Olives, Paté and a very filling and tasty Tender Pastry. The choice for main was the Portuguese Iscas with Boiled Potatoes. Well served dish, with well-fried baits in a tasty and well-prepared onion. I accompanied the dish with House Red Wine and finished with a great homemade Arroz Doce. Efficient, fast service in a very composed house. Meal costs around €20 per person, which can be more affordable if there are no starters or umbrellas. I recommend!“

“We eat here as a family 2-3 times a month. It is consistently delicious. I always get the special because it is always perfectly prepared, no matter what style of cuisine. A true gem. By the way, we travel 40 minutes to eat here. It’s that good.“

“My wife and I dined here last night. The seafood rice, along with a very nice bottle of wine, was delicious. We followed this up by splitting a beautiful piece of seven layer cake for dessert. The service was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. So good we're going back tonight. No need to look any further.“

“Given the criticism, I was skeptical.Regarding the staff, the indications were true: staff were not very friendly and not very helpful.Regarding the food, it was a pleasant surprise. In addition to being tasty, dishes were presented, tasty and with a generous amount“

“The best were the desserts and the attention of the waiter, very attentive to everything, advising us and explaining each plant in Spanish in great detail. The sour legume soup (cress) is a spectacle. It exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Francisco, our waiter.“

“Some time ago I made a constructive criticism about this restaurant/seafood restaurant where I mentioned that, practically, it was impossible to speak/converse with the person with whom we were going to share the meal due to the fact that the noise of the dishes coming from the kitchen was extraordinarily annoying and incomprehensible, as It didn't happen in any other restaurant. In the same way that I did so constructively, I now come to praise the change that has occurred in this aspect. Today you can relax and enjoy the excellent dishes this restaurant offers and the calm atmosphere it has become. Therefore, I will continue to have lunch/dinner with the certainty that I will enjoy a well-cooked and peaceful meal. Congratulations on the change and continued success.“

“Very beautiful place, polite staff. High quality dishes!
Dishes range from €21.9 to €32.9 and have good options. The highlight was the truffled ravioli, but the scallop risotto was also very good.
Kid-friendliness: It is not recommended to take children“
