I recommend this restaurant. I ate there 2 times and it was incredible! The food is really good and the price is very attractive. I've tested the pork cheeks and the beef with "marrare" sauce, it was delicious. The cooking of the meat was perfect! About the price : I've paid 23€ for a drink, a main dish and a dessert! The only thing is that you need to pay with cash, no payment by card. The waiters are also very kind and friendly.

Stumbled across here by chance five years ago and were there several times during our stay, and for good reason. Yesterday we didn't miss the opportunity to visit the friendly restaurant again. We completely chose what was recommended to us. We've always done the right thing here. If you want to let yourself drift, this is the right place. The dishes are easy to experiment with and well crafted. It was a successful evening and we are happy that our expectations were once again met. I've been to Tasquinha da Vila a few times and I'm making this assessment based on all my experiences. The food is always very good!! I've already tried the Alheira, the Hamburger, the Duck and White Asparagus Risotto, the Tomatada and absolutely everything was well made and tasty. The best cod pastry I've eaten lately was at this place. Perfect and dry crust. I only tried one dessert. Not because I didn't have the opportunity to try others, but because the Pumpkin Peanut Cheesecake is so spectacular that I just want to eat that. Miguel and Ana are very attentive, polite, friendly and cook with love. It's noticeable! The whole team is good!
The cost of a meal with starter + main course + dessert + wine + coffee is around €27 per person.

This is one of our favorite places in Portugal and we come once a week or so. We drive from Lisbon. Everything is good. Anything you order will be good. It’s rare to get this level of cooking at a Tasca. My son named his dog bitoque after his favorite meal here.
