As Mentes Tapas Bar - Restaurante

This little restaurant in the middle of buildings and which doesn't look like much is a magnificent discovery! We ate delicious tapas (our favorite the shrimp tacos) the homemade sangria is excellent (and very well served) Don't hesitate to come home, you won't be disappointed!

Mentes tapas bar serves fantastic Portuguese style tapas dishes. The service was super friendly and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and we were seated at a large table which was great so you had lots of space to share all the tasty tapas. The beef strips with pepper sauce, the melted goat cheese, the home made tacos and the garlic prawns were all fantastic. The flavors are nicely balanced and the portions are perfect for sharing.
We completed our meal with an exquisite chocolate petit gateau and a tasty lemoncake with ice cream. The gateau was the best we have tasted in a while, in fact it was so good we ended up ordering another extra gateau.

A special compliment for the manager, she really made us feel very welcome and ensured everything ran very smoothly during our thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend visiting Mentes tapas and we will be coming back again soon.

We went to Mentes for dinner and it was very worth it. The menu is small, but there is a good mix of fish, meat and vegetarian tapas. I really enjoyed all the tapas I tried. I can particularly recommend the large cheese plate, which was really excellent.If you are looking for very good food and good service at good prices, Mentes is the right place for you. :)

Unfortunately it's a bit difficult to find and it's a long walk uphill. Once you've made it down the path, you're a bit surprised at first because it doesn't look like anything from the outside. But once we got inside, it was very nicely decorated, the food was damn tasty and the boss was super friendly, we talked to him for a while after the meal. Lovely again!
