Located on Av. da República, 100 meters from Casa da Cultura de Paredes, Churrasqueira da Avenida is a very welcoming restaurant, with rustic, informal decor and a family atmosphere. Traditional Portuguese cuisine with excellent preparation, quality and lots of flavor. Naturally specializing in a variety of grilled foods, with an emphasis on excellent mixed grilled food. For lunch we chose grilled spare ribs and an oven-roasted Anho, which were magnificent. For dessert we chose ice cream. It has an excellent take away service. Good price/quality/service ratio. Good service, a lot of friendliness and great availability from all the staff.

The waiter had unparalleled arrogance, the meal was duck rice with dessert and coffees and we thought the price was fair, so we asked to take away the remaining meal and the waiter brought the leftovers from a table next to us that also had ordered the same meal as us. Unbelievable! It had everything to be a great space and what I come here to criticize is not the quality or preparation of the food but rather the poor service and attempted fraud. Above all, a business must be serious towards its customers:

When the house opened, I would honestly give it 4 stars. Although the service was slow, the food came in large quantities and was quite good.More recently the quality of the food has worsened. The fries are usually drenched in oil and the meat is not what it used to be. That's what I call "besuntice".It's not worth the wait nor is the price worth it.
