We recommend! The food was delicious and quickly prepared. one side dish included in the price - fries / potatoes. We had Espada com banana and Espetada. Service nice and attentive. We would definitely like to come back :-)

As they say, they only fool me once and that was it. I ate poorly, the minced meat was hard, the sauce had no taste at all, the bolo do caco was not fresh, I noticed it straight away, the only good thing was the beer, which was very cold. Now the most important thing is the price, I've never paid so much for a chopped meat, 34 euros, the meat was tough and had a lot of potatoes. We paid 204 euros for 6 bites. Dasssss

Our accommodation being right next door, we had spotted this restaurant.After having tested 2 other establishments in the city (very good), on the 3rd evening, we came to Xama.There weren't half of the dishes listed on the menu... in February, it must not be time to stock up yet.What we chose was pretty average, neither good nor bad, with no real taste.No poncha either...And to top it all off, although there were only 8 customers in the restaurant, we couldn't hear each other because the two children present were acting crazy across the veranda area in which we were.Very bad experience which we made up for by going to end the evening elsewhere.

In my humble opinion, the best fish pasta in Madeira
Reasonable and expensive food for what it is, poor side dishes and poor service. Limpet rice with almost no limpets. Employee (who seemed to be the boss) very rude. Against brought handwritten. When asked for a taxpayer account, it was not itemized. Employee questioned the need to ask for the bill, was rude, raised his voice and resisted bringing a bill for what was consumed.

I saw some reviews saying that it had a beautiful view, but in front of the restaurant there was just a white wall, anyway. In relation to food too expensive, price quality. Very good limpets, but the mixed fish looked like leftovers. Skewer 4 tiny pieces of meat. The fish soup was good, but €5.9 I think was too high. Friendly staff. But there are days. ....
