Found the place on the way to Spain from Lisbon. Welcomed by friendly English spoken staff and great foods. Even though four hours drive ahead, I couldn't resist the wine. One of the great experiences in Portugal. Obligado!

Classic Alentejo restaurant in the quiet town of Pavia in northern Alentejo. We had couvert of olives, cured ham and local cheese to start followed by salted cod fish and secreto porco preto (black pork) which were both delicious. Accompanied by delicious local wine, friendly and helpful service- this is local, Portuguese dining at its best. Worth a visit!

Great restaurant... Everything is homemade. We stopped by chance. We are very pleasantly surprised. Filet mignon, octopus and lamb chops. Everything was perfect, even the fries are homemade. For dessert, original and delicious cakes, ideally sweet. We sincerely recommend this place
