I loved the " migas," a traditional Portuguese vegan dish made with bread, cabbage, olive oil and beans. The vegan sorbets were gorgeous, made with all natural ingredients. I was able to pick and mix a range of vegan side dishes: migas, rice, salads, chips, etc. Generous portions. #Veganuary
Excellent food and reasonable prices. Friendly service. It is advisable to reserve.

Okay... This is going to be interesting today.
The food was EXCELLENT I repeat... EXCELLENT. Nothing to point out, the kitchen is worthy of a Michelan star, divine black pork tusks, divine black pork cheeks and a leg of milk lamb with potatoes in the oven that leaves us asking for more, the desserts (Panacota with red fruits and Tiramisú followed the recipe and nothing to point out, many congratulations)
The employee Nilton with a 5 STAR attitude yes he deserves the 5 ?????
Now let's start to descend unfortunately.
Lili, the employee who never stopped being friendly, however, made amateur mistakes
1st asked if we wanted dessert while one of us was eating the main course.
2nd I asked for an old brandy, and she asked if she was sure if the brandy was the same as the price was very high (12 €) because according to her it was the Manager who had given her directions to ask me (in these cases you should bring the wine and spirits list to avoid this type of embarrassment)
3° The same employee (I don't know if in this case it was her fault) brings us the bill for another table (77€) which if I were a scoundrel person the house would be at a loss as I paid 101€ (an amount for which I have nothing to point out because the food was worth that amount) and I even left a tip because Nilton deserves it.
4th.... and finally.... The same employee brings me the bill with the wrong taxpayer number ?????, she tried to remedy the situation by getting my cell phone number and that she would send me the invoice with the correct number. ?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️.
It could have been 5 stars (easily.... I swear.... really very easily.) but no ?

One weekend spent in Pedrógão, we went to discover this pearl of Portuguese gastronomy, A Taberna do Ferrador. 5 star service. We had two meals here and which one was the best. From the sensational starters, to the main dishes and ending with the very good desserts. With a wine cellar worthy of any good restaurant, I was convinced and will definitely return.

A space with many years in the village of Pedrogão Grande, a pleasant environment. The food is nothing to write home about. It offers a varied menu, including regional dishes.

The Iberico pork “Plumas” were, without a doubt, among the best I’ve ever tried. Fish soup 10/10, and the staff were really nice and friendly.

This place was so busy we almost didn’t get a table on a Thursday evening! Thankfully we did and it didn’t disappoint. The house special veal on a bay leaf skewer was soooo tasty and the secretos was sublime - salty and decision. ?

A place not to be missed, the way they welcomed me says a lot about the quality of the service during the evening, welcomed at the entrance with a good night and a handshake from whoever was going to serve us immediately left a good impression, accompanied at the table and So a pleasant evening began, the person who served us was always available to help and with a good mood always high, even the kids loved the way the person served us, so 5 star service, the food was simply wonderful and another 5 stars since the tripe stuffed with the hamburger on the plate with the octopus à lagareiro, not to mention the cheese and sausages board and the alheira balls are delicious and to finish off with an already recommended honey pudding, it was a great way to end the night, I can only say that In all aspects the experience was very good, thank you to the staff for your kindness, I think one day I will return. With the pleasant conversation and the divine meal, the photos were left to be taken, until next time.

A hidden gem, where we ate so well and were very well received.....
I ate a mix of Maranho and Bucho, all very traditional and delicious, we also ate black pork feathers that came with some beautiful crumbs. The fries were divine and to finish off an old-fashioned biscuit cake.... Pedrogão Grande gained a few more visitors with the help of this restaurant.
