The space is welcoming, despite it being too hot in the room, even with the air conditioning on.
We ordered steaks with mushrooms, they served us steaks with shrimp! But so far ok, it was just a mistake... we thought "let's not say anything because we actually like shrimp..." The food was good, however I expected better, considering the amount of oil in the pan...
The worst happened at the end... when we arrived at the table we had the APPETIZERS waiting for us (bread, olives, pâté and butter). We don't strictly ask for anything!! However, upon leaving the establishment and looking at the invoice, we realized that they had charged €2.50 for bread which WE DIDN'T TOUCH and €10 for olives, pâté and butter, which we actually ONLY EAT THE OLIVES!

An excellent discovery in Abrantes, which, for unknown reasons, looks like a ghost town, as there seems to be little human life there... Right to the point, restaurant with an Alentejo façade, interior without luxuries but well decorated and comfortable, with air conditioning, as the 35° exterior recommends, fast and efficient friendly service. Fresh seafood with a choice (there is an aquarium) good meats of both beef and pork, few fish... The sea is represented here more by seafood which sometimes makes suggestions of land and sea in the proposals of house specialties served generously. The cuisine is traditional and well prepared. Prices are balanced for those who don't prioritize them as there is nothing more annoying than reading reviews of good food and recommended places distorted by the sole criterion of price. Restaurants are "experiences of the senses" and as such price is secondary and only becomes relevant when it is asymmetrical to the quality offered. Tulipa is therefore a good experience. Place to retain and revisit without any restrictions. Congratulations to the Management.

We had dinner with friends yesterday after a tip from a resident in the area. We made a reservation and at the scheduled time everything was ready to receive us. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, the service was helpful and friendly, the food (grouper rice, grilled meat, eels and clams) was very good. Prices are fair. We recommend it and promise to return.

I really liked this restaurant. From the facilities, to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food at a good price/quality ratio. It should be noted that there was a vegetarian dish option. I recommend!
