Too much waiting with so many servers!
I strongly advise against it: salty notes and dish not up to par with the place.
If we want to play in the big leagues, we cook great food! My octopus alageiro was not cooked, the garlic cut coarsely and the potatoes tasteless.

We came to Pedro for dinner twice (Thursday and Friday). Very good food, fresh fish, homemade chips, something that is starting to be rare unfortunately, the bread was also good. Good homemade desserts. Very good sparkling sangria!
Something I appreciated about this restaurant was the diversity in terms of employees. Whether in age (young and less young) or in cultural terms. It's beautiful to see. Good environment among employees
Service takes longer on Fridays but this is normal as the restaurant was full.
I highly recommend going there to eat. It's not super cheap but it eats very well!

Worst restaurant of my vacation. Very loud , slow service and worst salad I ever had (house salad ) . Too expensive for what we got.

I will not be, as usual, offering great explanations and digressions. It will be simple and direct.
- There is no parking, however, very close by, there is a park and in front of it is a terreiro, I think, of AcuaSubOeste (I think it is in this area I am referring).
- Safe space for the family.
- Compliance with DGS standards. Between the tables there are additional plastic “walls”.
- Super friendly from those who serve at the table.
- We ate: sea bream (of the day, super fresh) with boiled potatoes and sautéed vegetables (broccoli, cabbage and garlic). A wonderful fish, fresh and very well grilled (the sea bream was shown to us before they cooked it).
Dessert: Camel drool and a fantastic baked apple with vanilla ice cream (you can choose another flavor). A perfect balance between the acidity of the apple and the sweetness of the scoop of ice cream, perfect. Baba was perfect.
Total with three imperials: €46 for two people.
View from the restaurant to the bay and coastal road.
Note: an important detail to correct: the bottles of olive oil, vinegar and salt must be replaced by individual packages with the same products. During the pandemic, as we are going through, bottles that others have picked up should not come to the table.
It's been a habit of going to Pedro's restaurant for many years, whenever I go to Peniche it's my favorite place to eat, last weekend I went with some friends for a crab and it was delicious, very tasty and filling.

The standard has dropped a lot in this restaurant.
As a native Portuguese, I have been visiting the country for many years and Peniche is often visited.
Unfortunately, I have to write that O Pedro has been developed into a typical tourist rip-off.
It's overpriced for what you get.
The service and kitchen make an effort, but the necessary performance is lacking.
A plate of fish and two overcooked potatoes for 35 euros is unimaginative.
(It used to be different)
Unfortunately, this is becoming more and more common in Portugal
the standard.
But they're still there at O Pedro
More inventive... this was the only restaurant where the bread (i.e. the bread basket with 4 slices of bread) was charged per person.
O Pedro doesn't get my recommendation.

Good food, wide variety of fish and seafood. Decent service and friendly staff. Now in the summer time it fills up quickly at lunch time and we had some waiting time to be seated
