After 23 years of living in Portugal. We have just experienced the finest Cataplana de Tanboril ever.. this restaurante is at the very end 0f the marine road at the entrance to the docks. Awesome waitress service! Very friendly and professional people. The dishes are very tasty and well-cooked. I truly recommend the following specialities dishes: Cataplana de peixe and arroz de marisco.
Genuine local fish dishes in a simple environment. Long waiting times, better to book in advance. We had the typical Cataplana de Mariscos with sea bass - shrimps, clamps, mussels, half little lobster, 3 pieces of sea bass and crab with a mix of potatoes, peppers, oil, spices and coriander. A lovely food experience!
