We arrived at 9:30 at night without a reservation, asking if it was late for dinner, but when they told us no and that we would only have to wait a while, we decided to stay. They finally took our order almost at 11 at night. We asked for a recommendation from the menu and the waiter did so with reluctance. In the end, we ended up ordering the cod with onions and a "fresh" sea bream. The dishes had more potatoes than fish as a garnish. The fish was not fresh at all. The very dry cod. Furthermore, while we were having dinner they began to turn off some lights and clean up the restaurant due to the time it was, which was not our fault because we had been waiting to be served for 1 hour and a half. During dinner, when you ordered drinks, they took a while to serve you, and the restaurant was empty. When the waiter collected the plates, he began to criticize us in Portuguese because we left some food on the plate because the product was not good. Thank goodness we spoke the language and understood the lack of respect towards us. Finally, when we got ready to pay, we realized that they had included one extra drink for us. They had charged us for two bottles of water. We told the waiter that we had only ordered one and he told us that the bill was correct because a 1.5 L plastic bottle of water cost €3.50. It was clearly the price of the two bottles because x2 was indicated on the bill, but he did not want to correct it. In short, we do not recommend this restaurant either for the quality of the product, nor for the cuisine, nor for the service.

Very good food and friendly staff. Two remarks : we had to wait more than one hour before we got our dishes. It was a cosy place so that wasn’t too bad. We asked for a bottle of white housewine. The owner suggested a very special Reserva. This bottle feels like a tourist trap. The bottle costs 1,59euro in the shop. We’ve paid 20euros for it. It was more expensive than the dishes. Left us feeling a bit scammed.

The food was ok but very expensive. The people very nice. We didn't get enough. We paid €20 per person for a small piece of fish, some chips and rice. The sangria was also too sweet and too expensive for the quality. Payment is only possible in cash. Long waiting time. The owner got drunk at the end of the evening. I'm a little disappointed.

The best place to have food in Peniche! I ordered an Arroz de Marisco and I was expecting a small portion with some frozen sea food, but for my surprise the dish was so fresh and a hugeee portion. The staff was so lovely and friendly. They dont accept card, and they let me go to the ATM to get some cash. Lovely place and I would give 1000! I really recommend!
