Excellent food and service. Cannot say bar stool dining is particularly comfortable for me Highly priced for Portugal, be sure to ask wine price before ordering or you may be unpleasantly surprised.
For me, Botequim is the best restaurant I have been in my life... It is not only for the food and the wine but also the way the owners make you feel like if you were part of the family. During our last vacation, we drove an extra 3 hours from Algarve just to have lunch there... When you sit at the counter, the adventure starts! Everything is fabulous... Can't wait to go again!

Best food and wine experience of a 2 week vacation full of great food and wine experiences. 8 or so seats only, but worth a wait for sure. Only open for lunch, about two seatings a day.
