While passing through this charming place in Portugal, we stopped at this restaurant where we ate for lunch. The waitress is not friendly at all. No smile and unpleasant. When paying at the cash register towards the bar, the waitress was talking with, I think, the equally unfriendly owner. They spoke normally in Portuguese and criticized the tourists that we were and what we had consumed... except that ladies, you should be careful, one of us is Portuguese and therefore was delighted...
We arrived around 1:30 pm and were told that there were only fillets. Then the information at the next table was that there were only fillets and sardines... we didn't understand the difference in criteria.
The girl was not friendly. The service was very slow.

As a couple, we opted for the menu of the day (14/6/24) for lunch, and we thought it was well served.
The price is very reasonable (for the dish of the day) and the service is very fast, efficient and friendly.
I was aware of other more critical reviews about this house, but my experience was positive.
