From the outside it looks completely inconspicuous. We were very positively surprised. Great service, the food perfect! and it was totally authentically Portuguese! My fish was grilled on charcoal and the taste was simply WOW!!! The service was super friendly and at the end there was also a schnapps?? We give it a whole 6 out of 5 *!!!! We'll meet Again! No question!

Wow!!! 5 stars doesn’t do this restaurant justice. Best food and service we’ve had from Lisbon to Lagos. Authentic, tasty food and ridiculous value for money. - you can tell they are proud of their food. We were the only tourists on a Friday night in a packed restaurant - a good sign - The locals embraced us and the atmosphere was brilliant - would eat here every night if we were staying. Thank you Fabricio (we think your name ?) - your warmth and charm made our whole stay. We ordered the pork and chicken (asked for peri peri) dishes & washed it down with local wine served in a jug and smooth/delicious. Portions are huge - our kids shared a dish. Do yourselves a a favour and visit this gem.

Really tasty food, we went back the following night as so good! The staff do not speak great English but was very patient with our Portuguese attempts. The fish dishes were gorgeous & great house white wine. Highly recommend if you are looking for hearty simple tasty Portuguese food & excellent value for money ?

We didn't think we'd come across such a restaurant, it doesn't look like much when we walk through it! But once settled, everything is great: the owner (who speaks French) is welcoming and friendly as can be, just like his son-in-law who helps with the service and who took the time to explain all the dishes to us. Here, no menu, but so much passion for the service and the quality of the products speaks for themselves! The best place (family friendly!) that we have visited since our arrival in Portugal.
On the menu, the children had chicken with fries, a plate of meat (chicken, pork and veal) and we were treated to a magnificent entrecôte.
Add the soup as a starter (a real potato and cabbage soup), the drink and the coffee, and you will have a super nice time, at an almost indecent price because everything was perfect!
If you pass by there, stop, you won't regret it!
