Excellent. The cook is very commercial. When I came at lunchtime to ask for a reservation for the evening. We had difficulty making ourselves understood. The man did not want to make us a meal, citing that it was closed in the evening even though on the internet it says open until 11 p.m. But after 15 minutes of discussion. We were able to book for the evening. This young woman took our order and respected our choice of fried cod salad. Very very good . And at a very reasonable price. I really enjoyed it. Perfection exists: we have found it. This is a popular little restaurant that does very well. And far from the hordes of tourists, we found the adega popular: this family restaurant serves its own wine, offers generous gourmet dishes and very simple real traditional Portuguese cuisine. We particularly recommend the cod or the egg steak. Dessert: the pudding, which is actually a port flan, is truly crazy. Don't hesitate to take advantage of the TV that's always on, in short, a real popular restaurant that's really cheap, well done!

We found the staff congenial but the food was merely okay and the price was outrageous for the quality of the meal. There was only one thing on the menu (veal) but we left a good portion of it on our plates. Veal is supposed to be tender. This wasn't. There was plenty to eat. We just didn't enjoy it enough to finish what we had on our table. And the price for two (including a beer but no dessert) was 45 Euros. I think they saw us coming.There are many better eating places in town.
