Ate there twice, one lunch and one dinner. The service is nice and professional. The food is great, very tasty like a gourmet restaurant, the vegetarian risotto was excellent. Wine list is a big deal there,it is like a book and all the wine ceremonies are a bit too pompous to my taste and at the end when you order a glass they serve about a quarter of the glass. Over all it was nice and tasty but way too expensive for what you get .

Half of the dinner was very good, the other half was not as expected and not worth the price. My fish plate was overcooked… Service is not as qualitative as it should be in such a place. They have amazing wines and the sommelier is a good storyteller but appeared too busy to serve wines…

Lunch in Régua. Food very well prepared, and with a selected atmosphere. Perhaps the best octopus I've ever eaten!

Nice place, they have converted the old station building into a restaurant and bar. We had three courses with wine. It was all nicely arranged and it tasted good.
It was a good service and we got a little help choosing wine that went well with our slightly different main courses.
I was a little disappointed with my ravioli with partridge, it was a little dry in my opinion, but the sauce went well with it.
Personally, I loved their desserts, they are called what they look like. I got the "egg", tasted great.

Approx. €310 with food and wine for four people.

Food is quite good but the quality of service is very poor, at least that woman tonight didn’t want to be here. We will not come back, we will not recommend.

Had a lunch with veal. The steak was overcooked, which speaks for itself, and the dish somewhat unbalanced. The service was of course pleasant, but I expect that a restaurant with a star can recommend wines to a greater extent and otherwise have a higher level. Still, Michelin star or not, I expect a medium rare steak to not be well done.

Food was good, not great considering a Michelin Guide. We had foie gras entrada, the octopus and vegetarian risotto. The factor that created great discomfort was the temperature inside (upstairs) the restaurant. It was unbearably warm, and when we asked about it, we were told the cooling was at 'maximum', and that the wood ceilings had something to do with the heat. It would have been nice to be offered a seat elsewhere, where there may have been better circulation?

Came here on a Tuesday evening with family. Overall experience was great. Food was delicious, especially the veal, octopus and dessert egg. Highly recommend that anyone visiting Douro Valley comes here, but you need to plan ahead and make a reservation.
Only downside is that outdoor seating is facing disused train tracks rather than the beautiful Douro river.

Fabulous! With impeccable decor and a welcoming atmosphere, every time spent in this restaurant is pure delight. The dishes were very well prepared, the presentation was excellent and the flavor was a real explosion for the palate, with special emphasis on the desserts, which were to die for and absolutely delicious. The menu dedicated to younger guests should also be praised, offering quality dishes (without processed foods...) so that little ones can also enjoy an excellent meal. The service proved to be attentive and affable in the right way and the waiting time was quite short. All ingredients for a wonderful experience. Definitely worth repeating on your next visit to Douro.

There are so many moments spent here! Unique restaurant, such a peculiar space and surroundings of the Douro. Top-notch cuisine and a sublime wine list. In the Alto Douro Wine Region...Simply the best ?✨️ thank you!!!
