We choose the restaurant just like that but what a happy experiênce. A very friendly and attentive smiling lady was attending and serving. The menu had many obtions, not the portuguêse only as always, more choise. We opted for white veal cutlets and curry, both were very good. Fish I saw at other tables, looked delicious as well, not too dry for instance. We don't come often to Pinhal Novo but certainly will visit Central again. The bill inclusive wine, coffee, Maceiera, desserts was just over 70€ for 3 persons

Unfortunately the cuttlefish was tough, the octopus rice was tasty (dish of the day). Varied starters, reasonable chicken and tuna pate, the cracklings were tough. The usual desserts. A passing lunch, but it doesn't justify a trip on purpose to eat.

I tried to book a table for 22.15 and they say the kitchen has already closed. On the internet it says they close at 23.30.A Brazilian girl answered the phone and I was literally dispatched.
