Well run, some dishes we had were well executed (duck), some others blunt (beef steak). However, definitely a good choice for the area.

A fabulous and yet relaxed spot. Beef tartare was literally to die for. Sommelier did an amazing job pairing up my options (starter, main, dessert, coffee) with Portuguese wines and ports. Absolutely LOVED every minute of the whole experience.

An ultra local food menu accompanied by a magnificent selection of Portuguese wines.The serving team was very attentive and involved, which complemented the superb decoration of the room beautifully.A great family dinner!The eel in brioche for the starter and the corvina were unanimous! The kids menu steak was very well cooked and tasty but was a bit of a tougher cut for a kid. The lamb was amazing, and we were quite happy to see that it was a normal plate for presentation followed by an extra plate with another 5 chops! Well served. The only complaint would be service. From the moment we got into the restaurant the staff were not as attentive as you would expect for a restaurant like this. The restaurant was not full. We tried to get the attention of our waitress to order and she used her hands to signal time out. What’s that about? When asked if we would like another drink at the end of the meal and I said no I had to drive, the waiter tried to push me to order a Port and said it would be fine. While it seemed to be a bit in jest, given the roads in Duoro, no staff should be even jokingly try to push more alcohol if a client says no thank you I’m driving.

This was our second time there and we loved it as much as the first time. The service was exceptional as is their wine list. The food is meticulously crafted. Expect to pay for that. It's worth it.

The restaurant is centrally placed in Pinhao, but the interior style did not appeal to us, it seemed artificial and lacked personality. The service was good, effective and professional, but in a little cold, impersonal way. The best thing about the food was the main course, skilfully prepared and presented and with a wonderful taste that gave us goosebumps! Probably the best main course we had during our 5 days in the Douro region. As for value for money, the price was far too high.
