A cheese & bread starter was followed by seafood empadas, carrot soup and a meat stew, then a mix of Portuguese desserts, including an egg custard, poached pear and chocolate cake.

There was a short history of the vineyard and a little bit of time to walk around the beautiful gardens with excellent fountains and views over the vineyards.“
