Writer's Place is a charming riverside restaurant with a beautiful view of the Douro River. The owner and his wife, who is the chef, offer excellent locally caught river fish and delectable lamb dishes, as well as their own homemade Porto wine. The restaurant also caters to vegetarian diners with a variety of options available upon request.
