“Churrascaria Sal e Brasa is a very popular restaurant located in the centre of Brasília at the North Wing near the TV Tower. Service is efficient and friendly. Don’t expect much English. We came on a Friday and the place was packed with locals. People we queuing to have a seat. There is a buffet with an impressive choice of dishes and a sushi-bar. At your table you choose for ‘with meat’ or ‘without meat’. Waiters permanently walk around with spines of different sorts of grilled meat. For BRL 99 you eat as much as you like. Drinks, deserts & coffee are extra. We dislike eat-as-much-as-you-can buffets, nonetheless we weren’t disappointed. The food was well presented and mostly of good quality. We had a ½ bottle of Malbec and mineral water. The food was tasty, and the wine was good. We ended with Caramelised warm Banana with Sorbet and coffee. The desserts were very good. When you like to dine like the locals: Restaurant Sal e Brasa is the place for you. Recommended.“
