my wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant with its quite chic atmosphere.
The flesh of the cod we ate was quite firm, and a little salty for our taste. Cooking and flavor were good. Seeing the cod cooking over a wood fire in front of us is a real spectacle! My wife's meat was tender and good. I regret not having tasted the chorizo cooked over a wood fire. Next time...
The portions are large but the price is still quite high.
We would happily recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely come back.
Parking: the restaurant has a small parking lot with 15-20 spaces. But it is quite easy to park in this small village.

From the olives, to the cod and at the end the cream milk… Everything divine! Not to mention the wine list.
And the icing on the cake is the fantastic service from the entire staff and family.

Highly recommended place, very nice place in aesthetics and cleanliness, a spectacular grilled cod with a very good olive oil (of which you can buy a 5 liter jug) and at its point of roasting and salt, delicious the best from all over Portugal with a lot of difference

For those who like to try different dishes, I recommend trying the starter called Feijoada de Sames (a part/organ of cod).
The cod is very good, well served.
The desserts were well presented.
It's not exactly a bargain to dine at this restaurant with starters, main course and dessert, but it's worth the money, for the quality and service.

Food very well prepared, somewhat expensive, but nothing that I wasn't expecting. The service was great until they charged for a 14 year old white wine and it wasn't good. I find the situation unacceptable, I warned the supposed wine expert that the wine would probably not be in the best condition, even due to the color it presented. After a bill of 780 euros, not having the ability to do the right thing says a lot about the ethics and integrity of the people concerned.
It is a shame.

The fish is tasty and service seemed like 5 star. A big negative was that they are not transparent about the price. We ordered quite a bit and normally you get a receipt with all the amounts. That was not the case. We paid an amount and when I asked for a receipt I received a payment confirmation.

We came here for the codfish. If you want a good codfish on the grill this is the place to go. The cod is done to perfection. It comes with boiled potatoes and greens.

Bad experience!
Be careful with the bill. There were 3 of us who ordered beef tenderloin, the waiter informed us that there was only enough for two, it could be completed with picanha. We agreed. It turns out that when it came time to pay the bill for 2 picanha steaks, it was 42.00 euros.
Now no one had ordered picanha and then they presented an absurd bill for said picanha, which according to the cashier the price had to do with its weight.
Pure robbery, we subject ourselves to eating something that was not ordered and was overpaid
