Naturally, reviews take into account the specificities of each restaurant: you don't expect a tavern to have the atmosphere, services and cuisine even remotely close to those of a three-star Michelin restaurant.
That said, Tasquinha Pombalense is great: good food, the times I went there (for lunch on two weekdays) there was a fixed price for the meal (12€), with everything included (soup, main course, drink and dessert ). Service is courteous and attentive. And the space is not large and there may be a line at the door. Be patient and wait. It will be worth it.
