We opted for this place because it was lunch time and the location was central. When they take our four diners' orders, they tell us that there are none of the dishes we want. After 5 minutes when they take notes again, surprise! There is also not what we want. Finally we chose the beef steak... which we didn't get to try because after 40 minutes of waiting we decided to get up, pay for the drinks and leave. Furthermore, the bathroom was not only dirty but the sink was flooded. They don't deserve even one star, but Google won't let me give less.
It's a shame not to have read the reviews before entering, because apparently this way of working is the usual way of working for this place. It's a shame that such unprofessional restaurants exist.

Popular and quiet place
The fried peas and tiny ones are exquisite. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. You can not ask for more

Terrible service, really bad food, I don't recommend anyone to eat at this establishment.
Shoe-soled meat, not even close to Azores steak.

The regional steak was very tough, the price was very high for the quality of what was presented.
Despite the poor quality of the meat, the service was five stars, with great friendliness.

The regional steak does not have any quality nor should it be sold like the traditional steak from the Azores. Meat very tough and poorly cooked.
The employees are friendly and attentive.
The asking price for the steak I ate was a steal.

I have mixed feeling. It looks nice tidy and fresh but service was poor. Dont know english we were served from someone who dont even worked there. Food was average for me. Was excited i will have nice octopus and in fact it wasn’t bad but as side came with potatoes and was like 3 of them. You have nice oily sauce around and have nothing to eat it with. Nice small roll as side or more potatoes would be nice. They have local beer thats nice and also came with fresh vegetable salad. The fact i found fly in my sauce say about how fresh ingredients are. Also had the chance to see guy who supplied restaurant and potatoes was sprouting all over. Good way to get food poisoning.

Ridiculous, having a restaurant like this operating on the island. It just ruins good Acorian cuisine. Regional steak saltier than ham and soaked in fat. I don't recommend it to anyone.????

I had lunch and enjoyed it, the food was excellent, the price was the lowest on the island, I didn't see that price anywhere, I ate very well, with quality and paid little, I recommend it.
